Ignorance Is Bliss

I believe that once you’ve been exposed to an environmental or world wide issue, it’s partly your issue as well, because you’re living on the earth where the issue lies. Teachers play a big role in pointing the views of teenagers in a different direction. Before I read the Afghanistan article in English class, I had no idea of what was actually going on in Afghanistan. Now that I think back, I never really gave a single thought as to what was occurring with the Canadian soldiers in Afghanistan. I didn’t realize how dangerously they were risking their lives everyday in a foreign country away from their loved ones. The situation they put their families in must be horrible and mortifying everyday for them to live. Sometimes I feel extremely guilty for laughing and enjoying my peaceful days in Canada, where people in other countries of the world are hoping for a tomorrow. They are pretty much guaranteed another day by 50%. I want to contribute to a cause because I’d like to feel as if I’m helping some part of my world. Our earth is everyone’s responsibility; you can’t just live in it without contributing. I believe that policeman feel as if they have beyond the power they actually contain. For example, in Vancouver, many policemen killed a 40-year-old man with a taser gun trying to arm him. That is way too severe. Sometimes people think that they can’t make a difference in the world because they are only one person in the world. When everyone contributes, even the slightest bit, a difference can be made.

Afghanistan

I have to admit, my first thought in the morning is not the well-being of the Canadian Forces in Afghanistan. It’s profound that they’re in Afghanistan, risking their precious lives for the sake of the country and its people. The families of these soldiers are undoubtedly worried sick of their loved ones in a foreign country. I believe that the soldiers are fighting for a positive cause. The cruel mistake made by Osama Bin Laden should not be taken out on the people of Afghanistan. Their safety is important to Canadians. It must take a big heart for one to go down there and save others lives, while yours is more at risk. These soldiers are targets. Nich, from the two letters, is a very brave person. She has a lot of self confidence and doesn’t believe in giving up. While driving through the towns of Afghanistan, she would see children full of hate who swore many times at her crew, but this didn’t bring down her confidence. Some would smile and wave. Optimism is a very powerful characteristic of hers. Shooting guns or goofing around is not what she’s in Afghanistan for. Serving her main purpose is very important to her, and that is to save the lives of those innocent ones. Nich was very proud to be in Afghanistan helping those in need. Unfortunately she got killed in a shooting. Her care and loyalty is well missed.

As she reluctantly pulled way from the passionate kiss she shared with the handsome Michael, Linda panicked knowing she went past the limit. She realized she has just accepted a proposal from a man that she's known for merely one brief hour. Contemplating life with Gregg or Michael, Linda froze immediately. What has she done? Betraying her faithful fiancĂ©e by kissing another man, even though this kiss meant much more than the little pecks Gregg gives her. Gregg would be mortified, Linda thought. Once she moved her confused eyes up towards Michael, she noticed him starring at her uncertain expression, and he snapped her attention back to his heart melting face. Linda gaze fell upon Michael's soothing smile. As she glanced at the shiny ring from Gregg but now from Michael, Linda was completely unsure of what she wanted. How could she leave Gregg unannounced for a guy she went picnicking with and shared a glass of wine? Linda saw life with a serious man or a heart warming life with a romantic such as Michael. As she started deeply into Michael’s eyes, the thought of living without him ached her fast beating heart and immediately she leaned forward and pressed her lips against Michael’s. She knew exactly what she desired and it was sitting right there, in front of her eyes.

Blog Life

I believe the most optimal use for a blog that I would very much utilize for is personal writing. I believe that personal writing is very powerful. The information that one can express when having gone through a personal situation, is more valuable than any other kind of writing. My conscience tells me I’m a better writer when I’m writing from experience. When you spill out your heart, everything is out. Every little thought, every judgement, every emotion. When writing about an emotional experience of mine, compared to another person wirting about that same experience yet not having gone through it, its obvious to know whose writing will be betterand deeper. Teens of such indulge and escape reality while composing. Even those who are not powerful scripter’s will surprise themselves.
Another thing I’d like to write about is music, fashion and friends. Pretty much anything that entertains teens. After watching a spontaneous movie, I would always go and tell my friends every little detail of it. While shopping I would find lots of fantastic clothing. Advicefrom my friends on whether I should buy it or not is a great help. Friends are like a nother part of you. They help you get to where you want to go.

Time Travel

I find it amazing if I could have the ability to travel back and forth through time. I could go back and fix any mistake made and do better. It would mean having more than one chance to replace or fix mishaps. If someone important and special in your life passed, you could go back in time however many times you want to enjoy some moments from the past you had with them. So theoretically, they are dead, but you can still enjoy their past company. Unfortunately, not future company. And if I really wanted to know what my future looked like, I could move forth in time to see what I have in store. I would know which of my recent freinds will still be very much close to me. I'd know my career and who I'd be wedded to. You move back time to see one's past, which usually explains their present behavior. If you know a troubled friend, you could move back in time and figure why they are the way they're. And if it's worth it to you, you could help them achieve high status in life.
