Baby

The gaga sound that escapes their tiny adorable mouths is the sound of hope. The way their mouth closes in and twists when trying to pronounce the word mom. . Crying crunches up their face and pours tears out of their beautiful eyes. Hearing the loud screeching screams feels as you are watching a semi truck climb up a hill. The time it takes to quiet them down is unbelievable. The need to kiss their fat rosy cheeks when they smile and expose an empty mouth absent of teeth is glorious. Every time you lift their little bums up and get them to try and walk, they come pouncing down. The touch of their smooth, soft head full of tiny hair is so admiring. When a baby wraps his or her hand around your fingers your heart is full of joy and nothing can make that moment more extraordinary. Planting a big kiss on their chubby cheeks feels so emotional and there is no feeling that can replace that. The way they stick their tongue as if they are playing a game with you is the most hilarious sight to set eyes upon.

Lion

Their elongated, hirsute body thick as the pericardium with four short bushy legs scares the jitters out of me. Its extremely puissant tail is full of strength and has the ability to throw you off your feet. The horrifying site of a lion’s sharp claws pops your eyes open and make you want to hurriedly sprint away. The disgusting smell of it gushing away at innocent human flesh makes you want to gag. The atrocious urge to puke is climbing up behind you. The deceiving fur that appears to be so smooth over its body is filled with itching mosquitoes. The loud and petrifying roars alert you like a fire station that has received a major fire order. A sudden rush of anxiety flashes past you and all you feel is fear. The need to immediately exit that frightening area is evidence of terror.

List of Cities

Everyone finds an interesting list entertaining and it catches my attention. A list gives people others’ opinions and it displays the top most of anything. It can also be deceiving because everyone has their own opinion to display. It can be a negative way of writing, as well, because it can put negative thoughts in ones’ mind for something they believed to be the best. I chose to do top ten cities to visit in the world because I’m very fond of traveling and fascination comes upon me very quickly while experiencing life in different communities. The difference in their unique living styles, decilicious food and compelling language is very exciting to experience. It is extremely important to travel and set eyes on a different ambiance.

Top 3 Most Beautiful Cities

In my lifetime I would like to visit the top three beautiful cities in the world; Venice, Paris and Honolulu. These cities have extraordinary tourist attractions. Many people from all around the world are drawn to these exquisite cities.

People say Venice will one day no longer exist due to excessive amounts of water crowding the city. Their roads are substituted by water. Everyone rows to their destinations. I believe that’s entirely unique and no other city on earth is as fascinating and interesting as Venice. Tourism includes visiting Basilica San Marco. Venice is world-famous for its
canals. There is a river that goes through the city of Venice called Grand Canal. It’s an experience that is not found anywhere except Venice. Paris is evidently the most beautiful place on earth. Most couples go there for special romantic occasions, such as an engagement. It is most definitely the most romantic place on earth. Paris is the most popular tourist destination in the world, with over 30 million foreign visitors per year. There are numerous iconic landmarks among its many attractions, along with world famous institutions and popular parks. Paris is famous for its Eiffel Tower. During the day it is an impressive view and when darkness falls upon it you see nothing but a phenonmenal tower. The metal structure of the Eiffel Tower weighs 7,300 tonnes while the entire structure including non-metal components is approximately 10,000 tonnes. I would love to visit Paris and experience its attractions and love. Honolulu is a place for extreme recreactions. Honolulu is a thriving city, with beaches that draw crowds from around the world. Beaching, swimming and tanning are activities that relax everyone. Enjoying the heat of the sunshine while laying on Honolulu’s attractive beaches is most satisfying after a long day of hard work. Its unique desgin of beaches grabs your attention. Honolulu is home to its best known tourist destination, Waikiki Beach. Snorkeling is an activity that very few people on earth have tested. Its very dfifferent and exciting being around hundreds of different fish.

Madonna

Have you ever watched your best friend die (what for)
Have you ever watched a grown man cry (what for)
Some say that life isn't fair (what for)
I say that people just don't care (what for)
They'd rather turn the other way (what for)
And wait for this thing to go away (what for)
Why do we have to pretend (what for)Some day I pray it will end

This certain verse from Madonna’s song, “In this Life”, exemplifies that Madonna is not just about looks and entertaining others. She genuinely demonstrates respect towards life and the surprises it brings us. I would have thought that she’s just another pop star, but this verse has made me realize that she is very intelligent and not so much self-centered. It’s evident that she knows the more importance to life than how her hair looks when she’s walking down Hollywood Boulevard. Madonna has set a positive example on young pop stars of this generation. Madonna's look and manner of dress, portrayed in photographs, live performances and music videos, became increasingly influential among young girls and women. Defined by lace tops, skirts over capri pants, fishnet stockings, jewelry bearing the Christian cross, and bleached hair. This style became an iconic female fashion trend in the 1980’s. Madonna was the first female pop star to have complete control of her music and image. To this day, she is still very popular and releasing top tanked albums.

Sister Rivalry

"I have no other hope than for them to see that as happy as I am for you I am happy for me. But this will take an act from us for them to see. That what makes you, you makes me, me. And that we will always be the best of sisters"

It was believed that Anne and Mary Boleyn always wished the best for each other. They were each others half, and always desiring to be together until jealousy and competition divided them. It never occurred to them that the one holding the greatest power in England can ruin them and break their sisterly bond. As the Boleyn girls battle for the love of a king - one driven by ambition, the other by true affection - England is torn apart. Mary was always the sweet and naïve one, only longing for true love. Anne on the other hand stopped believing in true love after Henry Percy stole her heart. She went on a life long journey trying to gain power and become Queen of England, but she went too far to achieve that dream and was executed due to her own actions. Infidelity and incest destroyed her. Mary inevitably loved Anne until the end, but Anne did not show the same sympathy towards Mary. Anne harshly turned down Mary when she asked her for help with her marriage to William Stafford. Anne also stole Mary’s son from her, which is the most absurd act to set upon a mother and her children. Despite the dramatic consequences, the Boleyn girls ultimately find strength and loyalty in each other, and they remain forever connected by their bond as sisters.

The Other Boleyn Girl

“The Other Boleyn Girl” by Philippa Gregory, holds many different opinions. When Henry says to Mary, “Pray god it is a boy time”, she replies with, “I am sure it is. Remember that I never said so with Catherine. I am sure he will be a boy. Perhaps we will call him Henry”. Many people and religions favored boys.

My religion for example, very much favored boys. It hurt to know that sometimes families mourned over the birth of a girl. Many families would like to see he birth of a boy because of the title it gives the family. A son is very likely to take on the name of his father and keep his family in place. With a girl, apparently you can’t do that because she will be married off and carry the name of another man. Boys are treated with much more care and love than girls. Their need and want is considered more important than a girl’s. In this book Mary is forced to be a whore and bed with the king every night to birth him a boy, which will carry on the king’s crown. Mary was scolded at when she first birthed a girl; her uncle was very upset and didn’t show the slightest bit of care for her young girl. People need to understand that having been able to birth is a blessing for them, but we see that some people aren’t very grateful and take pregnancy for granted. Mary’s pregnancies were taken for granted. She wasn’t very well respected even when she did birth a boy. Boys are a good help with helping around the house or farmlands, if so. It was believed that a girl can’t do what a man can do, but today, there are just as many woman doing men jobs as men are. This proves that girls are just as equal as men, and shouldn’t be treated any less. The need for family title is not very important nowadays; at least not to as many people as in the last generation, which is a relief.

Chinese people favored boys as well, which is why they have a limit on the birth of children in this generation. Families would have girls and be very upset by it; eventually they would abandon their child by leaving them in a park or an open area so that someone would come by and care for them because they are not willing to. Chinese people ungratefully used boys as a helping tool in farms. They also didn’t believe that girls could do a man’s hard work. If anyone in China has more than 1 child, they are to be fined a very high price. Some people are still sexist today in China; they still prefer to birth a boy rather than girl.

The Notebook

“The Notebook” can change one’s views towards love. Usually people think it’s nothing special, that it’s just another relationship, but it’s much more than that. Mostly males are the one’s who think love is a meaningless and foolish feeling, and it’s usually them who fall weak. They think nothing can outdo them, nothing can bring them down, but when they fall in love they are at their weakest. The Notebook reveals this. Noah played his role fantastically; showing every little detail of his emotion towards his lost love. From the greatest happiness of his life to the worst pain ever felt, Noah never believed he would be able to forget Allie, and not once did he give up. Those 365 letters he wrote everyday to Allie expressed his never dying love for her. Allie could do nothing for her love but defy him for the sake of her family. It is exceptional the way Noah takes delicate care of Allie in their later years; never does he leave her side. As a couple ages, their love, as well, grows older; deep love just becomes stronger and weak love dies slowly. In this case, Noah and Allie’s love only grew stronger day by day. “The Notebook” is one of the most glorious love stories told. You are missing out lots if you haven’t gotten the chance to watch this romance. I highly recommend it.

Ignorance Is Bliss

I believe that once you’ve been exposed to an environmental or world wide issue, it’s partly your issue as well, because you’re living on the earth where the issue lies. Teachers play a big role in pointing the views of teenagers in a different direction. Before I read the Afghanistan article in English class, I had no idea of what was actually going on in Afghanistan. Now that I think back, I never really gave a single thought as to what was occurring with the Canadian soldiers in Afghanistan. I didn’t realize how dangerously they were risking their lives everyday in a foreign country away from their loved ones. The situation they put their families in must be horrible and mortifying everyday for them to live. Sometimes I feel extremely guilty for laughing and enjoying my peaceful days in Canada, where people in other countries of the world are hoping for a tomorrow. They are pretty much guaranteed another day by 50%. I want to contribute to a cause because I’d like to feel as if I’m helping some part of my world. Our earth is everyone’s responsibility; you can’t just live in it without contributing. I believe that policeman feel as if they have beyond the power they actually contain. For example, in Vancouver, many policemen killed a 40-year-old man with a taser gun trying to arm him. That is way too severe. Sometimes people think that they can’t make a difference in the world because they are only one person in the world. When everyone contributes, even the slightest bit, a difference can be made.

Afghanistan

I have to admit, my first thought in the morning is not the well-being of the Canadian Forces in Afghanistan. It’s profound that they’re in Afghanistan, risking their precious lives for the sake of the country and its people. The families of these soldiers are undoubtedly worried sick of their loved ones in a foreign country. I believe that the soldiers are fighting for a positive cause. The cruel mistake made by Osama Bin Laden should not be taken out on the people of Afghanistan. Their safety is important to Canadians. It must take a big heart for one to go down there and save others lives, while yours is more at risk. These soldiers are targets. Nich, from the two letters, is a very brave person. She has a lot of self confidence and doesn’t believe in giving up. While driving through the towns of Afghanistan, she would see children full of hate who swore many times at her crew, but this didn’t bring down her confidence. Some would smile and wave. Optimism is a very powerful characteristic of hers. Shooting guns or goofing around is not what she’s in Afghanistan for. Serving her main purpose is very important to her, and that is to save the lives of those innocent ones. Nich was very proud to be in Afghanistan helping those in need. Unfortunately she got killed in a shooting. Her care and loyalty is well missed.

As she reluctantly pulled way from the passionate kiss she shared with the handsome Michael, Linda panicked knowing she went past the limit. She realized she has just accepted a proposal from a man that she's known for merely one brief hour. Contemplating life with Gregg or Michael, Linda froze immediately. What has she done? Betraying her faithful fiancée by kissing another man, even though this kiss meant much more than the little pecks Gregg gives her. Gregg would be mortified, Linda thought. Once she moved her confused eyes up towards Michael, she noticed him starring at her uncertain expression, and he snapped her attention back to his heart melting face. Linda gaze fell upon Michael's soothing smile. As she glanced at the shiny ring from Gregg but now from Michael, Linda was completely unsure of what she wanted. How could she leave Gregg unannounced for a guy she went picnicking with and shared a glass of wine? Linda saw life with a serious man or a heart warming life with a romantic such as Michael. As she started deeply into Michael’s eyes, the thought of living without him ached her fast beating heart and immediately she leaned forward and pressed her lips against Michael’s. She knew exactly what she desired and it was sitting right there, in front of her eyes.

Blog Life

I believe the most optimal use for a blog that I would very much utilize for is personal writing. I believe that personal writing is very powerful. The information that one can express when having gone through a personal situation, is more valuable than any other kind of writing. My conscience tells me I’m a better writer when I’m writing from experience. When you spill out your heart, everything is out. Every little thought, every judgement, every emotion. When writing about an emotional experience of mine, compared to another person wirting about that same experience yet not having gone through it, its obvious to know whose writing will be betterand deeper. Teens of such indulge and escape reality while composing. Even those who are not powerful scripter’s will surprise themselves.
Another thing I’d like to write about is music, fashion and friends. Pretty much anything that entertains teens. After watching a spontaneous movie, I would always go and tell my friends every little detail of it. While shopping I would find lots of fantastic clothing. Advicefrom my friends on whether I should buy it or not is a great help. Friends are like a nother part of you. They help you get to where you want to go.

Time Travel

I find it amazing if I could have the ability to travel back and forth through time. I could go back and fix any mistake made and do better. It would mean having more than one chance to replace or fix mishaps. If someone important and special in your life passed, you could go back in time however many times you want to enjoy some moments from the past you had with them. So theoretically, they are dead, but you can still enjoy their past company. Unfortunately, not future company. And if I really wanted to know what my future looked like, I could move forth in time to see what I have in store. I would know which of my recent freinds will still be very much close to me. I'd know my career and who I'd be wedded to. You move back time to see one's past, which usually explains their present behavior. If you know a troubled friend, you could move back in time and figure why they are the way they're. And if it's worth it to you, you could help them achieve high status in life.
